Tauranga 7114

The New Zealand Fire Service has embarked on a replacement programme to replace all the Command and Hazmat Units in New Zealand with his new concept of Command/Hazmat unit. The front part of the body is a Command Unit and the rear section will contain removable pods containing the Hazmat equipment that can be removed via the tail lift on the rear. The rear section can also be quickly converted into a command area for larger incidents. Tauranga Fire Brigade is due to receive the new unit in April 2010.
